The ARC – Transatlantic Race winter 2021


Have you ever wanted to sail the Atlantic? On the 14th November Team Tigress will be leaving Gran Canaria to depart on the ARC Transatlantic race, we will passage in convoy with 300 other Yachts of a similar size. Any crossing always tests all parties be it in the form of detachment, stamina or exhaustion. Many see crossing the Atlantic as one of the greatest life adventures to undertake and arrival in St Lucia is always indescribable. . The crossing takes between 15 and 22 days and during this time you will be involved in all aspects of running the boat. We have crew places to race with Team Tigress on this epic and unforgettable journey.

The Program

You will join us on the 15th November b for 6 days preparation and training for the race. The race normally takes between 14-21days however this can vary. Both in Las Palmas and St Lucia there are plenty of social events to enjoy and the opportunity to explore the beautiful islands.


Experience Needed

In order to join our ARC campaign we will need to assess your ability via a telephone interview prior to signing up.


Getting There

Fly direct to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.

You will need a flight to return home from St Lucia.


Kit You Need

You will need our “Med Offshore” kit for this event.

We provide all safety equipment apart from an MOB AIS beacon you will have to get one of these yourself.
