La Rute de la Sal- Easter weekend 2020 with Team Tigress
A regatta steeped in history, originating back to 1846 during the salt shortages in Barcelona. Historically the most famous sailors at the time were challenged to transport salt from the Salt Pans of Ibiza and Formentera to Barcelona.
Dubbed the most important regatta of the Mediterranean it has since been revived and adapted to the exhilirating competition it is today, The annual race sees up to 300 boats compete every year with sailors embarking on a voyage between the mainland, or Majorca, and Ibiza.
