Powerboat 1 & 2
This popular entry-level course provides the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat at speed and in close quarters. It also enables the holder to obtain an International Certificate of Competence (ICC).
Powerboat Level 2 is an excellent confidence-builder. Whether you’re planning to do high-speed day trips with friends, or simply exploring rivers further upstream with the kids, this course equips you with the skills and knowledge needed to be safe and have a good time out on the water in a powerboat.
Skipper Skills Weekend
Newly qualified and existing skippers often tell us that there are things they never get to practice when they go out sailing with friends. These specially designed weekends will help you by offering a ‘brush-up and improve’ weekend. Have a chance to focus on the things you find tricky or just don’t find the time to practice in this tailor-made course.
RYA Competent Crew
A course for beginners and those who would like to become active crew members rather than just passengers.
Experience living on board and really get to know the boat. Virtually all of the course is hands-on. You are the crew – without you, the sails won’t go up and the boat won’t be steered. By the end of the course, you should be able to steer, handle sails, keep a lookout, row a dinghy, and assist in all the day-to-day duties on board. We will visit some interesting places along the way and make sure you have experienced an enjoyable sailing holiday.
