You have completed your Day Skipper Course, now what?
There are many options of what you can do next. The first thing we suggest is to get out sailing as much as possible and put those skills you’ve learnt into practice. Join one of our Skippers Skills or Milebuilder courses to learn more or practice your existing skills.
Skipper Skills
Newly qualified and existing skippers often tell us that there are things they never get to practice when they go out sailing with friends. These specially designed weekends will help you by offering a ‘brush-up and improve’ weekend. Have a chance to focus on the things you find tricky or just don’t find the time to practice in this tailor-made course.
Milebuilders
A fantastic opportunity to cross the Channel under the guidance of an experienced instructor.
Both passages will give the opportunity to experience (and skipper) offshore sailing and navigation, watchkeeping, and of course negotiating the busy English Channel shipping lanes.
